Product orders made through the Site are processed by Squarespace and the payment processor, Gelato. All payments are handled through secure payment systems. Users are responsible for providing accurate payment information and ensuring that all fees are correctly processed.

Article 7: Shipping and Taxes

We ship to supported DDP regions and Japan through Gelato's network of local production facilities. Please note the following regarding shipping, customs duties, and taxes:

1. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Regions
For the following countries, we guarantee that no additional customs duties or taxes will apply upon delivery:

• European Union (EU) countries

• United Kingdom (UK)

• Norway

• United States (US)

• Canada

• Australia

• New Zealand

• Singapore

2. Non-DDP Regions
For countries outside the DDP region, we do not offer products at this time.

3. Tax Details

• Gelato is registered for VAT in 16 European countries, as well as for GST/HST in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

• For domestic orders in Japan, a 10% consumption tax is included in the invoice. Local Japanese customers purchasing through Gelato enter into a service contract with Gelato Japan, which handles all VAT-related processes for these orders.

• In the United States, Gelato is registered for sales tax in 44 states, territories, and districts.

• Taxes, if applicable, will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

• All prices listed on our website are inclusive of taxes where applicable. For orders shipped to Japan, the price includes 10% consumption tax.

Article 8: Delivery Times and Shipping Details

1. Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery times vary depending on the production location and the destination:

• Same Region (Local Production): 7–10 business days

• Different Region (International Production): 10–13 business days

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors such as weather, customs processes, or courier schedules.

2. Shipping Details
Once your product is shipped, you will receive an email with tracking details. Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate to avoid delays or non-delivery.

3. Additional Notes
- Delivery times do not include weekends or public holidays.
- Delays may occur during peak seasons or due to unforeseen circumstances.

Article 9: Shipping Cost

Our shipping fees are structured as follows:

• Per Order Fee: $8 (flat rate for the first item).

• Per Item Fee: $5 (for each additional item in the same order).

These rates apply universally across all regions, including the USA, EU countries, Japan, and other supported DDP regions.

Please note that shipping fees may vary in rare cases due to unforeseen logistical challenges, which will be communicated at checkout if applicable.
